Of course to do any of this would require major sacrifices across the political spectrum. Unfortunately, in this political environment, sacrifice means Democrats agreeing to keep unsustainable low tax rates and Republicans not cutting any meaningful spending. This works best with 3-5 players. It is similar to my World Cup Gambling Pool in that you draft all the teams in the NFL and get points when they perform well. Winner of the pool is the the player with the most points at the end of the season and playoffs. My pool was 4 players so we each drafted 8 teams. Here is the how the scoring works: Regular Season win: 2 points Season Performance Playoffs One of the brilliant aspects of The Wire is the fact that the characters for the most part are not pure good or pure evil, but instead many shades of grey. That being said, their are a few characters in the show that have no redeeming value to them whatsoever. Here is my list of the ten characters from The Wire who I want to punch in the face every time they come on screen: |
