My favorite sporting event starts tomorrow – the 2010 World Cup! In 1990, I was able to watch a few games. In 1994, I was able to watch a few more. In 1998, I was working nights and I watched every single game (except the final!). In 2002 and 2006, I watched most games on tape or DVR. I plan on watching as much as I can this time around and even had to set up another room with a second flat-panel TV just so I could shield my fiancee from some of the madness that is about to take over my life for the next month or so.
