Here’s what needs to be done… Decrease military spending by 30-50% In some more ridiculous news, according to Salon.com, at least two US Senators have never used an ATM. In the words of Senator Ben Nelson (D-Neb): “I’ve never used an ATM, so I don’t know what the fees are. It’s true, I don’t know how to use one. But I could learn how to do it [...] “It’s all the Democrats’ fault! Or it’s all the Republicans’ fault–I’m not sure. What we know for certain, according to everything I’ve heard, is that it’s entirely the fault of one of them or the other and certainly not due to any combination of the two.” – Michael Canty (Cage Maker) Conservatives are really going crazy over the health care reform – extreme rhetoric, assaults, death threats – absolute craziness! Don’t people realize that nearly every other country in the civilized world has a much more “socialist” health care system than the US will have after this bill goes into effect. And all of these countries spend a fraction of what the US spends and receives better health care! [...] Everyone seems to be in agreement that the Republican Party is going to make huge gains in the upcoming election, but I refuse to believe that the American public is going to make the mistake of electing the same people who got us in this mess in the first place. Maybe if they had some ideas other than (hold on, let me check the writing on my hand)… budget tax [...] |
